Electronic Pop with guitar. Guitars: www.mindmovie.org & LRW / The Rest: Artie Q. Track taken from the Artie Q cd: Give It Some Stick! https://www.amazon.com/music/player/albums/B007LB0254
"Good Morning" was a melody that Mrs. Q left on my answering machine, one day. I was so taken by it, I knew immediately I wanted to make a song out of it.

Song Story: One day "The Man" wakes up to the fact that he hasn't smiled in quite a while, and so he sets out to find his smile, again. He travels far and wide, battling evil witches & dragons ... but he still cannot find that elusive grin. Weary and despondent from the endless parade of head lopping, he sits down on a rock to contemplate his situation. Like all efficient modern warriors, first on the agenda is to check messages on the cell phone/mobile (which, by the way, he hasn't done in about one whole year of dragon slaying; so consumed was he with the task of finding that damn smile) and "TaDa!" ... There she is; in his voicemail! (I don't know why a smile should be a "she," but there ya go!) "Good Morning, good morning to you ..." AND much to his chagrin, he finds out she was there all the time ”OH MY GOD!!!
"So, what have you learned, grasshopper?" asked Oh Learned One of The Man.
"Well ... hmm ... erhm ... if you lose your smile ..."
"Yessss ...?'" prompted the learned master.
"Well, if you lose your smile, kill a bunch of witches and a boatload of dragons, and Bob's Yer Uncle!"
"Excellent!” Now, pour me another beer, grasshopper."
* Chink! *
"Cheers, dude!"

Lyrics

Good morning, good morning to you
Good morning, good morning to you.
Good morning, good morning to you
Good morning, good morning to you.
Seems I lost my smile along the way
And I must travel far to find the "me" of yesterday.
Good morning, good morning to you
Good morning, good morning to you.
In far off lands, I battled every day
Killed wicked witches, dragons and their friends who came to stay. Yeah!
Good morning, good morning to you
There she is—there's my smile
Good morning, good morning to you.
You were in my voicemail all the time, weren't you?
So what about all the witches I killed, and all the dragons.
All that killing, for what …? … so I could find my smile.
You know, from now on, I'm gonna make sure,
I'm gonna kiss, not kill everyone I come across
I tell you one thing, I'll never lose that smile
But if I do
I'm gonna find ya, I'm gonna find ya
I'm gonna hunt you down
I'll rope an' tie ya
I'm gonna find ya, and when I find ya
I'll never let you go! Ooh woh—Ooh!
Ooh woh—Ooh! Ooh woh—Ooh!
Ooh woh—Ooh! Ooh woh—Ooh! I'll never let you go
Ooh woh—Ooh!
Track you down
Ooh, yeah. I'm gonna find ya, I'm gonna find ya
I'm gonna track you down
I'm gonna find ya, and when I find ya
I'll never let you go.
