Though I wrote this song, oh, 35+ years ago ... I always had a hankering to update it. So I sent it to the man, the myth, the Flaming Bess legend = www.mindmovie.org , and this is the result. Even tho' the original set of lyrics were "late teenage/early twenties angst," with a slight "nip n tuck" here & there, verse wise, they were strangely appropriate for my situation as carer to my mother & father in their nineties (a few years back, now), and indeed my life so far. (It was a really bizarre sensation as Family Carer, to stand in the bedroom of my childhood, only 'now' looking at life through eyes of a mature adult—there is almost a feeling of life passing you by and nothing has changed or will ever change ... and further: Love Will Never Know That I Live Here.) So ... I sent the requisite chord changes and vocals to Mindmovie and he sent me back a fab backing track. I then decided to re write most of the verse vocals melodically and hey presto. Done & Dusted!

Lyrics

Love Will Never Know That I Live Here

I see memories in familiar places
Alive in my old room
In the moonlight on the grass,
The boy who left to save the world, became a man
Now he's back, again

No, love will never know that I live here. No, no, no. No, no, no—Woh!
No, love will never know why I live alone.
Love, don't give her my number

So I win the day, and kill the wicked witches
I kissed a million frogs today to find the princess.
As we sail into the sun, fa-faraway places
I'll not make do with just anyone.

No, love will never know that I live here. No, no, no. No, no, no—Woh!
No, love will never know why I live alone.
Love, don't give her my number

I don't care anymore, I don't care anyway
I don't care anymore, I don't care anyway
You might think I do, it just looks that way.

No, love will never know that I live here. No, no, no. No, no, no—Woh!
No, love will never know why I live alone.
Love, you better believe it
Love, you'll never know my number
